Guess who has been cast in the new Alexander McQueen film?

This is pretty cool.

Jack O' Connell has been cast to play Alexander McQueen in a new biopic. Announced in January,  the biopic has had a lot of speculation over who would play the designer. Jack O' Connell is best known for Unbroken, Money Monster and a memorable stint on Skins as Cooke.  He is not afraid of gritty, raw roles so this seems a perfect fit.

The film will be based on the book, 'Blood Beneath the Skin' by Andrew Wilson. It will center around the creation of Atlantis, the last collection that McQueen made before his death in 2010.

It will start filming in the Spring with a release date for next winter.
