My Experience with Sugar Cosmetics Never Say Dry Creme Lipstick 08 Jack Peacher:

The “Never Say Dry Creme Lipstick” range has about 11 shades in its collection. All the shades are very pretty and great for Indian beauties.

Packaging: There is nothing new about the packaging. It is almost similar to the packaging of other lipsticks from this range. This lipstick comes in a quirky cardboard packaging having the signature Sugar graphics design and prints on it. The graphical design looks very attractive and colorful and renders a good value packaging-wise. The lipstick bullet comes housed inside this cardboard box. The shape of the tube is square and it will fit easily in your makeup box.

The cap closes securely in place with an audible click. The lipstick bullet shape is slightly slanted. I found it a little difficult to colour my lips with this shape. If you find it troublesome too, just use a lip brush for uniformity. I did not find any con in the packaging other than the shape of the bullet. Overall, I am in love with the classy feel it offers.

Shade: The shade “Jack Peacher” is a peachy pink colour with a hint of brown undertones in it. The shade looks quite subdued and is great for everyday wear. You can wear it at any time of the day. This shade doesn’t brighten up my face but it looks nice on my lips. It will mainly go with fair to medium skin tones. It might wash out dusky beauties. Such shades are great for summers. I would like to wear it for a brunch party. It is so amazing for such outings.

The lipstick has a slight fragrance just like other sugar lipsticks and the smell is not bothersome at all. Price is also quite reasonable for the quantity offered.

Pigmentation: The pigmentation of this lipstick is rich and looks quite intense on the lips. It doesn’t require effort to cover the lips properly. On my lips, it needs 1-2 swipes to obtain the true color payoff. The colour payoff is so good that it can hide lip pigmentation fully. It is very easy to layer the product to build the intensity and does not get patchy on layering.

Texture and Finish: This lipstick has a creamy matte finish. If you don’t like drying matte lipsticks and also excessively hydrating cream lipsticks, then this is something which is an amalgamation of both. The formulation goes as per the description and the quality is really good. It has a smooth texture that glides on the lips effortlessly for an even application. It does not cause any pulling or tugging during application. This lipstick contains no shimmer particles in it. This lipstick provides the right amount of sheen and glow which looks perfect. This lipstick is a big relief to me because, I have super dry lips if not prepped. It hydrates and nourished my lips and gives it a healthy look. It never dries out my lips. It acts as a good lip plumper and adds definition to my lips.

The formula is very lightweight and does not cause any discomfort when I rub my lips. It is ideal to be used for winters. It does not get patchy and does not highlight the harsh lines of my lips. But, this lipstick is not completely smudgeproof and transfer-proof. With slight contact also, it starts spreading.

Staying Power: This lipstick stays for a decent amount of time. It is surely not long-lasting. It can stay for about 5-6 hours without food or drinks. If you are having oily meals, then the formula breaks down from the center of your lips and gets removed completely. After that, you would need reapplication. After it fades away, it leaves behind a soft stain.

Removal of this lipstick is super easy. It is not troublesome like their ‘Smudge Me Not Liquid Lipstick’ range. Any normal makeup remover can remove it completely.

Overall: I love the shade and it is perfect for summers. The colour is very flattering and I wear it to college occasionally. Quality is really good and there is no big con of this product. Overall, I am happy with the purchase.
