| This Chic New Denim Trend Is a Stark Contrast to Skinny Jeans - Yahoo Lifestyle Posted: 01 Feb 2020 11:05 PM PST Before we dive into this denim story, let's remember that skinny jeans are in no way "out." Sure, they're often considered polarizing in nature, but the classic nature of the silhouette means skinnies are more or less a wardrobe staple at this point. That said, there is a variety of fresh denim cuts out there that are giving skinny jeans a run for their money. I recently covered the next wave of non–skinny jeans, but there's another trend that fashion people are gravitating towards at the moment. Yep, I'm talking about those light-wash, wide-leg styles. Statement-making in design, this bold denim pick may not be for the faint of heart, but wide-leg jeans could be worth testing out, as they're inherently cool and can bring that modern yet laid-back vibe to a casual look. In fact, celebrities like Selena Gomez and Dua Lipa have been spotted recently in the silhouette to complete their trendy fits. Interested in dipping a tone into the wide-leg jean pond? Keep scrolling for a bit of celeb visual and shopping inspiration that may just convince you to try this forward denim trend this season (you know, if you haven't already of course). | 8 Skinny-Jeans–and-Boots Outfit Ideas That Are So Chic - Who What Wear Posted: 01 Feb 2020 09:10 PM PST ![]() I honestly can't remember the last time I wore skinny jeans. Perhaps two—maybe even three—years have gone by since a pair was even in my rotation. Now, rigid, non-stretch, looser styles dominate my wardrobe. In fact, I didn't think I'd be needing to make room for skinnies in my wardrobe anytime soon, but, of course, things change. Lately, I've noticed more and more of the many stylish girls I follow on Instagram bringing skinny jeans back and making them look even more forward than some of the trendier styles we've been favoring instead. Whether it's pairing them with of-the-moment knee-high boots or an oversized blazer (or both), these looks actually have me wanting to check my storage for a pair. To see all eight of the outfits I'm loving for yourself and shop them along the way, just keep scrolling. |
| Where to buy jeans when you don’t want to spend $100 or more - Chicago Tribune Posted: 13 Jan 2020 12:00 AM PST ![]() In my quest to find the perfect overlap of affordability and quality, I've tried a few different brands. I even tried picking up secondhand denim at consignment and thrift stores to save money; however, in my experience, I found that it's worth it to opt for unworn jeans because it greatly increases the amount of wear you get. (Denim jackets, on the other hand, are a great item to buy used.) |
