I am heartbroken!
I decided to use this amazing glitter from Make Up Store and dropped it! While I didn't loose too much, I did feel my heart break slightly when my partner hoovered it up off the floor. Gutted.
I am gutted because I can't get Make Up Store in Ireland or the UK anymore. Not easily anyway. They stopped selling it in Arnotts a few years ago then the Soho branch closed about two years ago. So if I use all the glitter then I'm stuck!
It was virtually impossible to get a good photo of this look. I live in a house with 'difficult' lighting. If you look, my contour looks unblended, my brows look strange and the shadow over the glitter looks odd. While you can argue that it is a blending issue rather then anything else, I still feel the light doesn't help.
I live in a house with my partner who doesn't wear make up. As a result, the house is of their design and choice. So this means, no make up lights. I was gutted to see the results on camera when in person, I was delighted with it. I didn't end up going out either!
So yeah, don't really feel like going through the products used on this one as I'm not happy with the results. I'll do the eye only.
EYES - Red pigment from MAC pressed over Painterly Paintpot also from MAC. Glitter is Make Up Store glitter applied with my fingers into MAC's Mixing Medium for lashes which is an awesome glue. I then used Catrice's waterproof black dip liner for the lines. The lashes are a slightly broken pair of 35s from MAC. Slightly broken in that they dip in a weird way on the left eye. I still love them! The final thing is NYX mascara. Oh hang on! The dark shadow? It's NARS Night Flight shadow blended into Cork by MAC.
I am guessing that my previous make up (see skull below) may have been responsible for the difficult blending problems. Oops. Oh well.
