Unfortunately, it's one bit of shocking news after another, as Simon Cowell is now dishing that the guys are going to "take some time off."
Um, excuse us? While that doesn't exactly sound like One Direction are breaking up, it is causing a pretty huge freakout among fans who worry that taking take off could lead to them not getting back together.
Simon told The Sun that following their fifth album, they'll take a break, explaining: "In terms of the band, they've got enough hits now they can take some time off and do some other stuff they want to do. Then I hope they'll have a little bit of time apart and want to get back together again. It's a fun job, but it's absolutely their decision."
You're killing us, Simon.
