SINAI WAR
This day, 63 years ago - October 29, 1956, Israeli launched Operation Kadesh in support of Anglo-French effort to gain control over Suez Channel, also known as Sinai War. During the operation two IDF Armored Brigades were active - 7th and 37th with AMX and Sherman tanks. The most famous armored action was the fight over Abu-Ageila. There is a lot to study about that conflict but meanwhile- here are some pics.
